Oh, I know just a couple of days ago I was ranting on about my love for summer and not wanting it to end. Yes, but I LOVE fall as well. I am an east coast gal so we are used to the enjoying the seasons and they are all so special in their own unique ways. So, this is why I wanted to share some of our fall eye candy that will be on its way soon. This British Designer is just the most amazing woman. Winter Rugs Are Coming.........
Yes, we will featuring these beautiful wool and luxurious rugs. I will be featuring samples in the boutique and customers can order from a variety of colors, designs and sizes These tufted pile rugs are 3-ply 100%
New Zealand wool and are hand made in India. These rugs are made of the highest quality New Zealand wool and are of the finest construction available. Samples will be in by November 20th. If you would like to order before then please come by for assistance.

Finally!! It is feeling like autumn here in the desert.
I have been putting off having these beautiful bamboo and cotton scarves shipped to the boutique. It has been so warm and just didn't feel like it was time to get these in. Well it finally rained this past weekend and the weather is chilly and windy. These scarves and shawls are the most luxurious gifts for the season. They will arrive in a variety of warm colors. They will only be available in limited quantities.

Maybe My New Bedroom??
Well I have been trying to figure out the design of my
new bedroom. I find this to be somewhat to my liking. I love simple clean natural colors with texture. I really like having a bit of 40's glitz but not too flashy though. I love including things like pewter, glass, alabaster and antique nickel.

The only thing about this room I am not feeling are the night stands. I don't care for overly matched decor and the white color and design are not doing it for me. I think I would prefer a dark stained wood with only one drawer and open bottom to store beautiful textured throws and blankets which would help to give the room a warmer feel to it.

Also, the lamps are nice but the thick white base to quite do it for me either. Otherwise I love the round shades. I think what makes a room special are the unique elements added from your personal taste and that have been put together over a period of time. If not I think your final result will be an overly staged look. Lastly, I would have to add at least one other contrasting color to this room. I would add some elements of nature and some beautiful very light green and cream colored flowers and maybe even some other textured fabric in a very light butter cream yellow.
